A KNOCK ON MY DOOR

A KNOCK ON MY DOOR

A simple knock on my door and I wish it were you,
A single tab or a clap and I run to see it is who?

I break through my books pining for your looks,
I set on the hinge’s knob to turn my wishes true!

I look aside my side and beside my every side,
But find each side blank and a shock to my wounded pride.

The dazzle of eyes shades my shabby sighs,
It smashes some veins within and I hear the silent cries.

This cry is of the pain that begets at once in vain,
I know you hurt me not still I wrench like slain.

The cracking of one’s hopes is like breaking of golden Rome,
Like shattering of battering domes and burning an orphan’s home.

My hopes did shatter as such I turned to twist my toes,
I fell upon my bed like a dead who lost his life for a Rose.

A moment I passed or two sieving the blued hue,
And shaking my head for I not had opened the door for true.

But at once is there a knock again on my door by the lock,
Now should I open the door or should I remove the lock….?
