FREEDOM OF FREEDOM
Here am I ready to kiss your hand
No more I want to live
In this cage of bricks and sand”
Cried out the bird
And struck herself with the fan
A rustle and a fall
And she breathed her last span
A sigh with a sorrow
Pricked all peering eyes
And for a moment felt all
As is felt at a kin’s demise
Freedom is like this
Is cares not for Death
Free the body or the soul
Will free its last breath
Iron chains and bars
Do not the freedom cage
Even a free man with freedom
For a free freedom prays
O God of Freedom
You make this Freedom free
And give freedom to all
And solve this chained mystery
TO YOUR EYES
I care a fig, if there it dies
Let it soar, let it sink
Let it drown and let it drink
Deeper than Dull and wider to boat
My heart has pined day night to float
Charms of her eyes deserve my sighs
Like a moth for the Moon each second it cries
Blacker than berry and wilder than wine
I bet these eyes are world’s wonder nine
A pair of brows as sharp poniards
Above the two heavens, guides and guards
Artist God’s art brought in a plate
Made these eyes on which I thus wait.
May God these eyes live a thousand years
An eternal source of ecstasy clearing fears and spreading cheers

BEAUTY IS WITHIN
BEAUTY IS WITHIN
Oh I looked for Beauty again
Opening my wearied eyes,
But could not see around
So closed it with my sighs.
Where is Beauty found?
I’ll travel to that State,
I’ll run to any miles
And will wait till any date.
I peeped through the window
And scanned the busy road,
But the Beauty I saw nowhere
In my country or abroad.
In the garden I saw on Rose
On Tulip, Urhul and Belle,
But Beauty was missing to all
Shaking them pale and stale.
I moved towards a fare
To find a fair face,
But the dames besides men
Were devoid of the void race.
Neither in His farms
Nor in Her charms
Beauty I saw nowhere
Neither psalms nor in arms.
Tired of my quest
From toes to the crest,
I looked within myself
Soliciting succour and help.
And lo the Beauty was there
Ending my tedious quest,
I found Beauty within
And found peace and rest.
The Beauty from my within
Peeped through my eyes,
Making the world Beautiful
And soothing my thorny sighs.
Note: The outer beauty is beautiful only when you feel beauty in yourself.
