TO YOUR EYES

My heart is lost, in her beautiful eyes
I care a fig, if there it dies

Let it soar, let it sink
Let it drown and let it drink

Deeper than Dull and wider to boat
My heart has pined day night to float

Charms of her eyes deserve my sighs
Like a moth for the Moon each second it cries

Blacker than berry and wilder than wine
I bet these eyes are world’s wonder nine

A pair of brows as sharp poniards
Above the two heavens, guides and guards

Artist God’s art brought in a plate
Made these eyes on which I thus wait.

May God these eyes live a thousand years
An eternal source of ecstasy clearing fears and spreading cheers
